The second Sunday after Pentecost.
John Rogers gives this weeks message on the Trinity
When the day of Pentecost had come, the disciples were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. Acts 2:1-3
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Paul is now a changed person under the power of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the game changer and giver of all perfect and good gifts…therefore we all need the Holy Spirit.
Yes it’s true whether we believe it, ready or not, You and I will one day will die, and will Jesus stand up for us, in waiting to receive us into HEAVEN?
